Building fences is what we do.
Building leaders is what we believe in.
Looking Back At 2025
As of January 17th, next year, I will have spent 2 decades of my career employed by Raybern Erectors. In that time, I have seen some remarkable things. I’ve seen over 50 people employed, 1/3rd of whom have been with the group for 10 years or more. I’ve seen us survive 2 recessions and a pandemic and I’ve had the pleasure of knowing 3 beloved golden retrievers.
While all of these things are incredible, there is something specific that gets me out of bed in the morning. It is the fact that Raybern Erectors is a place where we work to provide opportunity for each other.
To our field and shop managers – Alex, Joseph, Mike and Desmond – You have led our largest projects and taught essential skills to our developing staff. You have done this while simultaneously employing real business communication skills to support our project management team in planning and execution of future opportunities. You are the backbone of our operation.
To our office management team – Garry, Luke Devin, Peter and Liz – This year we have combined to increase revenue by 15% over 2024. This is because of your tenacity, focus, resilience and who you are as people. I believe that all who engage with you, truly trust you and enjoy working with you.
Evan, Boomer, Quinton, Liam, Eric and Brandon – You have each been with us for 2 years or less and are already heavily replied upon. You have all become effective fencers and you are all now proficient welders. You are all trusted to operate heavy equipment and above all you are continuing to grow as leaders. You have made an invaluable contribution this year. We are very proud of you and grateful for your efforts.
To our 2 most tenured team mates – Sheldon and Dan – Combined, you have been with Raybern for 52 years. You uphold a tradition of hard work and a knowledge of fencing that is foundational to who we are. Your commitment to the company over the years is admirable to say the very least – you are the people our reputation is built upon. I am personally grateful for everything you have done before and during my time with this organization.
To our employer, and executive team – It is only through your support and trust that we are able to learn and grown in the manner that we have over the years. Thank you for keeping us on track while at the same time affording us the freedom to try, at times to make mistakes, at times to have great success and always to grow as professionals.
And finally, to our friends and families – Thank you for your ongoing support and encouragement. Thank you for giving us a full cup to pour from. I promise that our most paramount endeavour to send each other home to you safely.
Thank you
