We are proud to announce that Raybern Erectors is now a federally certified subcontractor for the Canadian government, specifically Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).
The PSPC is the federal department responsible for providing a wide range of essential services that support the daily operations of the Government of Canada. Acting as the government’s central purchasing agent, real estate manager, and administrative service provider, PSPC handles everything from buying goods and services to managing federal sites (many with fencing requirements). It also oversees major construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered efficiently and in line with federal standards. By managing these critical functions, PSPC helps federal departments and agencies focus on their core mandates while maintaining transparency, accountability, and value for taxpayer dollars.
Beyond procurement and property management, PSPC plays a key role in areas such as translation and linguistic services, pay and pension administration for federal employees, and the production of secure documents like passports. The department also manages the sale or disposal of surplus government assets and ensures accessibility and sustainability in its projects. In essence, PSPC operates behind the scenes as the backbone of the federal government’s operations, ensuring that the systems, resources, and facilities needed to serve Canadians are in place and running smoothly.
With the online personnel security screening service (PSSS) component of PSPC, authorized organizations can electronically complete and submit requests on any number of federal infrastructure projects.
